Your View’ is an exhibition of 38 works all numbered, not individually named, as I invite buyers to take the view I have painted and name it for themselves or a loved one.
MIXED MEDIA LANDSCAPES 2023
LUCENT VIEWS
This series of artworks are depictions of the bush landscape behind our house on Gundungurra land. There is an added significance of it being a spot I’d go to with a friend who passed in 2023 from cancer. It’s a peaceful place, where the sky is ever changing and there is always something new and beautiful to see. The layering of paint and mixed media on small squares of aged book jackets aims to add nostalgia and infuse these tiny pieces with memories. These pieces are 11cm x 11cm in a white box frame and are currently available at Tyger Gallery in Yass.

VINTAGE BIEWS
These artworks are mixed media abstract landscapes on small pieces of vintage book jackets including 'The Stories of King Arthur’, ‘The Observers Guide of Modern Art’ & 'Our Amazing World of Nature’. Each work is called a ‘Biew’ which is my son’s word for a ‘beautiful view’. These pieces are 11cm x 11cm in a white box frame and all 20 sold as part of ‘Vintage’, an exhibition at Tyger Gallery in Yass.
